Who We Are
This website is operated by Kim White Steele LLC ("we," "us," "our").

Audience: Our site is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
Information We Collect & How We Use It
We collect information you provide directly (for example, when you contact us or subscribe to our emails) and information collected automatically via cookies and similar technologies (for example, device/browser info, IP address, pages viewed, and interactions).
We use this information to:
- operate, secure, and improve the site;
- measure and understand usage (analytics);
- deliver and measure advertising;
- process transactions and provide support for store purchases;
- communicate with you (e.g., newsletters you opt into).
Cookies & Similar Technologies
We and our partners use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep the site secure, remember preferences, perform analytics, and deliver personalized ads. Your browser may offer tools to limit cookies. Choices you make in our consent tools may also affect how cookies are used.
Advertising (Raptive)
Advertising. CMI Marketing, Inc., d/b/a Raptive ("Raptive") is a service provider of this Site for the purposes of placing advertising on the Site, and Raptive will collect and use certain data for advertising purposes. To learn more about Raptive’s data usage, click here: https://raptive.com/creator-advertising-privacy-statement.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited, time spent, and referring sites. Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy and see Google’s guidance for opting out (e.g., the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on). Raptive recommends referencing Google Analytics in your privacy policy.
Email Newsletter (AWeber)
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we share your email address and related subscription preferences with AWeber to create and send our emails, track performance (e.g., opens/clicks), manage unsubscribes, and comply with anti-spam laws. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us.
Store / Checkout (Shopify)
When you make a purchase, checkout is processed by Shopify, which collects information needed to fulfill your order (e.g., name, email, billing/shipping, payment info) and to prevent fraud. We receive order details necessary for fulfillment, customer support, and record-keeping.
"Sale" / "Sharing" and Targeted Advertising Choices
Certain US state laws (including California’s CPRA) define "sale" or "sharing" broadly and may include the use of advertising cookies and similar technologies by Raptive and our other advertising/analytics partners. You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information.
- Use the consent and preference tools on our site (e.g., the consent banner or privacy choices links associated with ads) to manage ad-related choices. Raptive’s technology enables opt-out of "sale or sharing" as required by California law.
- You may also use industry tools such as the DAA’s WebChoices and the NAI opt-out pages for interest-based advertising.
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals in accordance with applicable law. Traditional "Do Not Track" (DNT) is not required; GPC is the relevant browser-based signal. Avoid broad claims about DNT in privacy policies, per Raptive’s guidance.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights such as:
- Access/know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected;
- Delete personal information;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Opt out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising;
- Limit certain uses of sensitive personal information;
- Data portability and non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
To exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will verify your request consistent with applicable law and may ask for additional information to confirm your identity. Authorized agents may make requests as permitted by law.
EEA/UK Users
Our legal bases include legitimate interests (e.g., site operation, fraud prevention, analytics, and advertising), performance of a contract (e.g., purchases), consent (e.g., non-essential cookies/marketing where required), and legal obligations. You may have additional rights under GDPR/UK GDPR, including the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests and the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described above and as required by law.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
